What the Student Engagement team does
The Student Engagement Team (SET), within the Centre for Learning and Teaching, supports the development and implementation of the University’s Student Voice Strategy, policies and procedures. This covers activity from student evaluation and surveys, through participation, representation and voice, to partnership working and co-creation.
SET ensures that regulatory requirements and standards for the Office for Students are met and exceeded. The guiding principle of SET is to ensure its work is undertaking in a spirit of partnership and co-operation with the Students’ Union including supporting and developing the student representation system.
Within University’s Student Voice Strategy, policies and procedures SET is responsible for the oversight all evaluations and surveys of students through the student survey protocol and the specific management of a number of key strategic evaluations including but not limited to:
- Unit Evaluation
- Course Evaluation
- National Student Survey
- Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey
- Postgraduate Research Experience Survey
- Be Well Survey
