Conversations with cake

Conversations with cake is an informal opportunity to hear about, share and discuss evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning practice. All staff, including GTAs and those who support teaching and learning in any capacity, are welcome to attend.

Each session is led by a member of staff who may present an area of practice they have been involved in, or an issue or area of research of interest, with time for all to discuss and share different perspectives.

Sessions are usually held at lunchtime on campus. Refreshments and cakes will be available, please bring your own cups and you are also welcome to bring lunch.

These events are hosted by the Pedagogical Research (PedR) Group, which aims to promote, support and develop pedagogical research activity across the University. The benefits of a well-established PedR community include the development and embedding of an evidence informed approach to teaching and learning practice and an enhanced reputation for high quality scholarly activity.
