Fellowship demonstrates a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education. Across four categories, from Associate to Principal, Fellowship provides individuals with recognition of their practice, impact and leadership of teaching and learning.
The Pathways to Fellowship programme enables experienced staff to gain Fellowship, Associate Fellowship or Senior Fellowship from Advance HE in recognition of their teaching, supervision and/or learning support.
Applying for Fellowship
Through the Pathways programme, you can apply for Fellowship in one of three categories depending on your role, amount of experience and the range of your teaching, supervision and/or learning support activities:
Principal Fellow (PFHEA) is currently not included in the Pathways to Fellowship for Experienced Staff programme. You can apply for PFHEA via an individual entry route to Advance HE. For further details and support, please contact the CAD team.
Which category of Fellowship is right for me?
To find out if you are eligible to follow the Experienced Pathways and to assist you in selecting the category of Fellowship that best matches your current practice, you should:
