TEL Community of Practice: What Else Can Moodle Do? A Sharing Session
Thursday 13th November, 12:15pm-1:00pm
Join us for a collaborative and informal TEL CoP meet-up to uncover from colleagues what Moodle activities can really do. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an experienced Moodle tinkerer or just Moodle-curious!
Rather than having formal presentations or designated speakers this time, we’re keeping the floor open.
Bring along:
- A Moodle activity you’ve tried (big or small!)
- A question about what’s possible
- A challenge you’re trying to solve
- Or simply a willingness to listen, learn and contribute to the conversation
There’s no expectation to prepare slides — this is a relaxed space to show, tell, ask, or explore together. We’ll be gathering ideas around inclusive and engaging uses of Moodle tools and activity types.
Come to be inspired, to troubleshoot, or to test out ideas with friendly colleagues.
Some questions to reflect on before the session:
- Have you used Moodle in a way that goes beyond standard assignments and forums?
- How do you/could you encourage student-generated content or peer-to-peer interaction using Moodle?
- What’s a Moodle feature you’ve always wondered about but haven’t dared to try?
Target audience:
Staff who use Moodle for teaching & learning
Session length:
45 minutes
Format:
Meeting on Microsoft Teams. Please check your spam/junk folders for confirmation, reminder emails, and the joining link.
