Ever wondered about writing a blog but don’t know where to start? In this workshop we will be looking at some simple ideas for getting started and then we will have a go. Bring a laptop, some ideas, and have a go. By the end of the session you will hopefully have either created a short (2-300 word) teaching story you can share, or the first draft of a longer blog.
This session will be run by James Norman, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering. James recently joined the University of Bath from the University of Bristol where he was the most read blogger, penning over 50 blogs in 7 years including a number of blog mini-series. James is not your typical academic and his blogs are light hearted, accessible, and whimsical (a word James had to look up as words aren’t really his thing). James hopes the workshop will have the same feel, and will be inclusive, encouraging and joyful. Please come and have fun sharing something you love doing.
Refreshments supplied, but please feel free to bring your lunch
