In this session we will look at blended learning, and consider the different definitions, personal experiences and methods for blended learning.
Attendees will identify approaches for embedding blended teaching into their own curriculum and compare different designs using the CASE (Consistency, Accessibility, Scaffolding and Engagement) framework.
Be aware of blended teaching approaches.
Understand how to incorporate blended learning into existing teaching practice.
Apply strategies for engaging and communicating with students at different times before, during and after teaching.
Reflect on current use of learning technologies, and how they can be adjusted using the CASE framework.
Joining instructions and any pre course work will be sent out one week before delivery of the session.
