11 – Triad Tutorial 1
Target Audience: Mandatory and only available to Lecturers on academic probation.
You need to attend this before submitting an Associate Fellow application on the Probation Pathway to Fellowship.
If you are planning to submit a Fellow application this should be attended at the end of the first semester of engagement.
Session Information
You will be required to draft part of your application ahead of this session in order that you can participate in peer feedback, instructions will be forwarded two weeks before the session.
• This session is an opportunity for probationers to meet in a triad group and a tutor to discuss the peer feedback on their draft application. It is also an opportunity to raise any challenges, queries and issues emerging from the writing and reviewing process and to check the requirements and process of submission before finalising their applications.
Please note the tutorial will take place in either CB4.6 or CB 5.12.
Learning Outcomes
After this session you will have:
• started drafting your application and had feedback on it.
Preparatory work or pre-session expectations
You will be required to:
• draft 2 sections of your fellowship application.
• read your triad colleagues’ draft application.
• give feedback on their drafts, prior to the session.
You should be reminded of the preparatory work two weeks before delivery and assigned a triad group.
