The Pedagogical Research (PedR) Group aims to promote, support and develop pedagogical research activity across the University. The benefits of a well-established PedR community include the development and embedding of an evidence informed approach to teaching and learning practice and an enhanced reputation for high quality scholarly activity.

Join us for the “Conversations with Cake” session’s. This session will focus on Adjusting to reasonable adjustments -sharing your experience – Hosted by our new CwC Chair Meryem Horasan, School of Management alongside Centre for Learning and Teaching Colleagues.

Adjusting to reasonable adjustments – sharing your experience

With the University’s Inclusive Education Framework and the rollout of Level 1 Reasonable Adjustments for all students, we are being asked to consider reasonable adjustments as part of our teaching practice. But what does this mean for our day-to-day practice?

Join us for an informal conversation to share experiences, perspectives and questions. What have you had to adjust or rethink in your practice? What has worked well for you and for students? How have students responded to changes you have made? And how clear and easy is the new approach to navigate in practice?

Whether you have experiences to share, questions you would like to explore, or simply want to hear how colleagues are approaching reasonable adjustments, come along to share, listen and learn from colleagues across the University.

Refreshments and cakes will be available, please bring your own cups and you are welcome to bring lunch.
