The Assignment tool enables Teachers to create assignments where students can submit digital work (e.g., files, text, or multimedia) for grading. You can set due dates, specify submission types, and define grading criteria, including points, rubrics, or custom scales.

After students submit work to Moodle, teachers can provide feedback, grades, and comments directly within the tool. It supports individual and group submissions, late submissions (with penalties if configured), and integration with plagiarism detection tools like Inspera Originality. The tool streamlines assignment management, tracks submissions, and enables communication between students and instructors.
