Target Audience: Mandatory and only available to Lecturers on academic probation.
This session is designed to enable you to reflect on your needs as a Lecturer as you start teaching at the UoB and start addressing potential challenges/questions you may encounter at this stage. You will be invited to a 75 minute session within the time range shown.
The session will offer opportunities to:
• discuss specific teaching related issues/questions with your peers;
• seek advice from a tutor including signposting to relevant resources and additional sources of support;
• ask any questions.
After this session you will have:
• considered some challenges that you may face as a new Lecturer in HE (UoB)
• discussed the challenges and any specific questions related to your start of teaching with peers and tutors, and received some applicable advice
You will be advised of any other preparatory work, a week before delivery. Attendees will be split into smaller groups, between two rooms CB 4.7 and CB 4.9.
