Join us for another in our series of short lunchtime sessions exploring aspects of decolonising practice taking place across the University of Bath. This session will be lead by:
Keren MacLennan and Catherine Butler – Psychology
We are using a Faculty Teaching Development Fund award to produce an e-guide to decolonisation to support those interested in doing this across the faculty. We will outline our initial thought on content and invite those present for their ideas. We are also hoping to highlight good examples of decolonisation in teaching from across the university so please come along and let us know if you would like to be involved.
Joel Lazarus – SPS
I will give an overview of the last five years of my work developing the theory and practice of Relational Needs-Based Organising (RNBO), particular with reference to its application in CLARISSA SP+ and WorkFREE, two major international development pilot interventions in Bangladesh and India respectively. I will situate RNBO as a decolonial praxis.
All welcome!
