21 – Reflective Writing Support (Associate Fellow, Fellow and Senior Fellow)
Target Audience: Mandatory for anyone wishing to apply for fellowship (AFHEA/FHEA/SFHEA), whether in an academic or professional services role. This should be attended after attending the 20 – Introduction.
Session Information
In this session you will be shown the tools to write in a reflective way to best showcase your teaching practice/support of teaching practice. Using examples/evidence of how you teach and why, for AFHEA and FHEA applications, and consider your experience of leadership and influence for SFHEA applications to be submitted through the University of Bath’s Pathways scheme.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand what evidence to use.
- Understand how to demonstrate your evidence in a reflective way.
- Align your evidence content to the PSF2023.
- An opportunity to ask questions on how to progress your application.
Preparatory work or pre-session expectations
Think about you teaching(for AFHEA and FHEA) or educational leadership and influence (for SFHEA) and bring examples of aspects of your practice where feedback loop has been closed – e.g.teaching / feedback / reaction / adjustment made / feedback or examples of leadership and related spheres of influence.
You should be reminded of any preparatory work a week before delivery. Please bring a device with you.
