The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) offers several development opportunities for postgraduate research students who teach (PGWT).
You may be interested in attending events in our Talk Teaching series:
-
- Talk Teaching Lunchtime Hub sessions - take place three or four times a semester and are aimed at offering colleagues who teach or support teaching an opportunity to network and share experiences on learning and teaching topics.
- Talk Teaching Panel events - these follow a Question Time-format and cover broad learning and teaching issues, such as assessment and feedback, sustainability and research based learning.
- Talk Teaching Masterclasses - workshops that focus on specific learning and teaching approaches.
The CLT also organises EduFest, the University of Bath's annual learning and teaching conference. Our next event is EduFest 2021. Find out more about previous EduFest events.
Of course, the Doctoral College offers a suite of sessions and should be your main contact for any additional training needs:
Online resources are available to prepare you for teaching or demonstrating online. These include basic tips for using technologies for teaching and running seminars, tutorials or labs.
