Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Information Session for Staff
Wednesday 21st April: 15:15 – 16:00 (online, via Teams)
Would you like to find out more about Vertically Integrated Projects (VIPs), an innovative applied learning initiative that creates sustainable, research-engaged teams working on real-world projects? Are you interested in setting up a VIP team based on your research interests and expertise?
Join us on Weds 21st April to find out more about the VIP@Bath programme, how to get involved, and opportunities for running VIPs as an optional unit through Curriculum Transformation.
Currently, we have nine VIP teams, which connect students from a wide range of disciplines (the ‘horizontal’ aspect) and year groups, from UG to PGR (the ‘vertical’ aspect). Our 12 academic leads work ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ with around 150 students on long-term projects that not only sustain their own scholarly activity but also equip students with the knowledge, skills and vision to achieve local and global impact, particularly in the area of sustainability.
This online session will take place via Teams.
We hope you can join us!
