Have you ever wondered why your Moodle course is covered in multicoloured boxes, or what the ‘Accessibility+ Review’ block is on the left-hand side of your Moodle page?
Come along to this in-person ‘Fixathon’ to address the accessibility issues on your Moodle course and to make sure that your online learning spaces are as digitally accessible as possible for all learners.
This Fixathon is a chance for colleagues to fix accessibility issues on their Moodle spaces. TEL staff will be present to support you in showing you the accessibility wizard, explaining the issues that have come up and how to make the fixes. It is a drop-in session for both academic and Professional Services staff, and you can come any time between 11am and 12.30pm on the day.
If you are unable to join the event on campus, please send TEL an email via tel@bath.ac.uk with ‘Accessibility Fixathon’ in the subject line to request another form of support.
This Fixathon event is part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), which takes place on Thursday 18th May.
