Event Details

Probationers: Choice Session (priority will be offered to probationers, if the session proves very popular).
Of interest to: Colleagues wishing to learn how to teach in large groups

The purpose of this session is to provide participants with an opportunity to discuss issues pertinent to teaching large groups of students in both face to face and online contexts. We will invite academic and professional services colleagues to share their experiences with teaching large groups and offer participants their ‘top tips’ from practice, which they can take away and apply in their imminent teaching situations.

By the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Reflect on their practice in relation to teaching large groups in face to face and online contexts
  • Select applicable and valid approaches to facilitate students’ learning in large group teaching scenarios
