Event Details

Pure is the University’s research information system, designed to be a single source of information about our research. Pure takes data from Agresso, SAMIS and iTrent and combines it with data stored directly in Pure (e.g. impact and esteem activities) to provide an overview of research at Bath. Pure also creates a profile for academic and research staff showcasing your research on the University’s research portal.

This course will give you an overview of Pure and the data that are provided. It will also demonstrate how to add new content to Pure including uploading appropriate copies of your publications to make them open access. Finally, you will learn how to export your data from Pure in the form of a research activity report for appraisal, probation and promotion procedures.

Intended learning outcomes:
• Gain an overview of the data in Pure
• Know how to add new content including publications and research related activities to Pure
• Learn how to upload a full-text file to make a publication open access
• Know how to create a research activity report
