This event is of interest to: Staff who use Moodle
This interactive session will help you structure your Moodle course to meet the Bath Blend Baseline for Moodle, based on the principles of Consistency, Accessibility, Scaffolding and Engagement. You will explore:
- Effective use of the Moodle Essential Unit Information block.
- How the Moodle Unit template can help with consistency.
- Moodle settings and features which can help to structure, sequence, and support learning (including utilising Activity Completion to help give an overview of activities).
- Best practice for structuring and scaffolding your Moodle content.
The session is scheduled from 10:15-11:00. After the main session, members of the TEL team will be available until 12:00 for personalised support, where you can request supported follow-up on any of the points covered in the session via a breakout room.
A record of attendance will be uploaded to iTrent for staff development purposes. Please indicate in the ‘Specific Requirements’ box when booking if you do NOT wish for your attendance to be uploaded to iTrent.
