Of interest to: all who research and teach
In this session we will focus on how you can use your research/professional/technical expertise to inform and provide material for teaching and how students can be developed as researchers, professional/technical specialists and involved in research activity.
We will discuss the research-teaching nexus, the tensions and synergies. Finally we will consider ways of engaging students in research informed, research-led and as researchers in their learning.
Joining instructions and any pre course work will be sent out one week before delivery of the session.
Please note: for those not on probation, a record of attendance will be uploaded to iTrent for staff development purposes. Please indicate in the ‘Specific Requirements’ box when booking if you do NOT wish for your attendance to be uploaded to iTrent.
