This workshop briefly introduces some of the options available for supporting assessed student group work such as group projects or assignments, and their different strengths, for example:

  • Office 365 tools such as Teams and OneNote
  • Tools for student group collaboration in Moodle (forums and wikis)
  • Group assignment submission and feedback in Moodle
  • Peer review and peer assessment in Moodle

The second part of workshop will be hands-on (computer lab session) and will demonstrate how to set up and manage groups in Moodle (including student sign-up), how to set up a group assignment submission and how to apply group settings to different Moodle activities (e.g. forum, wiki). Participants will have a chance to complete practice activities.

There will also be a short demonstration of Moodle tools for peer assessment (Moodle workshop and Peer review)

If this workshop is full and you are interested in attending, then please email and we will add you to a waiting list.
