This workshop briefly introduces some of the options available for supporting assessed student group work such as group projects or assignments, and their different strengths, for example:
- Office 365 tools such as Teams and OneNote
- Tools for student group collaboration in Moodle (forums and wikis)
- Group assignment submission and feedback in Moodle
- Peer review and peer assessment in Moodle
The second part of workshop will be hands-on (computer lab session) and will demonstrate how to set up and manage groups in Moodle (including student sign-up), how to set up a group assignment submission and how to apply group settings to different Moodle activities (e.g. forum, wiki). Participants will have a chance to complete practice activities.
There will also be a short demonstration of Moodle tools for peer assessment (Moodle workshop and Peer review)
