With increased responsibility for projects and delivering research outputs comes the increased pressure of time and the need to prioritise both short term work whilst ensuring long term career goals stay on track. In this workshop we will cover some of the tools you can employ to overcome barriers to working efficiently and effectively. You will discover a range of techniques for prioritising tasks, managing yourself and staying focused over the long term.

After this workshop you will be able to:

  • Schedule your work day more effectively to take account of different work preferences
  • Analyse and prioritise your workload to ensure both short term projects and career goals stay on track
  • Focus better and avoid distractions
