Probationers: Choice Session for those on a Research and Teaching contract, but would suit those who wish to get support in planning and writing current grant applications (priority will be offered to probationers, if the session proves very popular).
Of interest to: people who have applied for funding but not been successful
The aims of this session are:
Overview of grant writing best practice followed an in-depth learning session on three grant sections: summary, aims and objectives and research proposal.
Activities in this session include:
Presentation followed by discussions and peer review. Advice from a successful applicant.
