Event Details
Conversation with cake is an informal, monthly get together for academics and related staff who are interested in discussing topics relevant to learning and teaching at the university. Each month we have a paper for discussion that attendees are encouraged to read at least some of before attending, but we still welcome those that haven’t had the time to do so. As this meeting will be in person, tea, coffee and cake are provided (and there will also be a form of baked goods!)
In November we will be discussing;
Bulut, O., Gorgun, G., Yildirim-Erbasli, S. N., Wongvorachan, T., Daniels, L. M., Gao, Y., Lai, K. W., & Shin, J. (2022). Standing on the shoulders of giants: Online formative assessments as the foundation for predictive learning analytics models. British Journal of Educational Technology, 00, 1– 21
