Talk teaching and eat cake
Conversation with cake is a meeting for those who wish to network across departments and discuss issues in higher education whilst eating cake. We welcome academics, teaching fellows and others who teach who have a particular interest in the topic.
No expertise in education literature is expected, but we encourage people to at least read some of the paper before they come. We also expect attendees to contribute to the discussion from their experience. This is a small mutual support and development group, not a workshop where things are taught.
Tea and coffee, as well as cake, are provided but please bring your own mug. Bringing your own lunch is also encouraged.
All meetings last for about an hour.
