Event Details

Conversation with cake is an informal, monthly get together for academics and related staff who are interested in discussing topics relevant to learning and teaching at the university. Each month we have a paper for discussion that attendees are encouraged to read at least some of before attending, but we still welcome those that haven’t had the time to do so. Tea, coffee and cake are provided for in person meetings (although you are encouraged to bring your own mug). When we’re online you’re encouraged to bring your own refreshments and show off any baking you’ve done.

In April, our virtual session will focus on if/how and how much climate change is embedded across all curricula. Is it a threshold concept?
