CLT Lightning Talks: Assessment and feedback in a blended environment
Thursday 22 October – 13:15 – 14:00 (online, via Teams)
Join us for the first of our online Talk Teaching Lunchtime Hubs this semester. This is a fast-paced event where colleagues share their experiences of delivering feedback and assessment in a blended learning environment. They’ll be talking about how a blended learning environment has given the opportunity to enhance their own practices, and the challenges they’ve encountered.
Our Lightning Talk presenters will be asked to talk around just one slide and have a maximum of five minutes. This is an informal event with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share your own experiences.
Presenters are:
Karen Angus-Cole, Department of Education – “Explicit signposting of formative opportunities that support summative assessment”
Claire McMullin, Department of Chemistry – “Year 1 CH-Labs Providing Opportunities for Acting On Feedback”
Lana St Leger, Department for Health – “Empowering Y1 students through the use of e-Portfolios”
Rob Eaton, CLT – “Top five tips for assessment and feedback”
Please book your place below (event 212) – a link will be emailed to you allowing you to access the event via Microsoft Teams. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions: clt@bath.ac.uk.
