Highly recommended for: those wishing to choose where to publish.
Love them or hate them, journal impact factors are a common currency in scholarly publishing.

- understand, access and assess journal impact factors and other journal indicators
- discuss their uses and limitations
- explore other factors to take into account when choosing where to publish.
This session will run online over Zoom, joining instructions and details will be emailed out to you the day before the session.
Please note: for those not on probation, a record of attendance will be uploaded to iTrent for staff development purposes. Please indicate in the ‘Specific Requirements’ box when booking if you do NOT wish for your attendance to be uploaded to iTrent.
