Event Details
ChemDraw contains templates to draw animals and insects, human anatomy, bioinstruments, microorganisms, cells, membranes, and biopolymers.
This workshop will provide an overview of the options to create biological drawings using the ChemDraw software package.
Following a brief demonstration about where to find biological templates, how to create and edit a drawing and how to use the biopolymer editor, you will have the opportunity to try features within ChemDraw using worksheets to draw a eukaryotic cell, passive movement of a solute across a membrane and a plasmid map.
This will be an introductory session assuming no prior knowledge and will allow plenty of time for you to practice using ChemDraw.
After attending this workshop you will:
- be aware of the biological drawing features within ChemDraw
- know how to transfer a drawing to a Word document
