Introductory Writing Days
Are you teaching and supporting learning?
Do you have enough experience and evidence to make a claim for Associate or Fellow of the HEA (see Diagnostic tool, pen portraits and FAQs in the ‘Getting Started’ area of Moodle)?
Have you had a conversation with your Bath Scheme Champion to ensure that this route to Fellowship is right for you having completed the output from the diagnostic tool?
Do you want to get your Associate or Fellow application started, but not sure how or when?
If the answer to ALL of these questions is Yes and you want to find out more then register for Fellowship via your Bath Scheme Champion and sign up one of the full Writing Days normally offered in non-teaching periods throughout the year (next one this year is in June).
On Writing Days, following a brief overview explaining what you need to do and how you go about making an application, the remainder of the day will be dedicated to supporting you in developing your examples to start writing something on your application form for Fellowship.
The day will be supported by several experienced advisors/assessors from across the University, who will be on hand to help you develop your thoughts, ideas and examples as you prepare your application.
For participating in this event, please secure your place by registering for the Bath Scheme (email email@example.com) and signing up before Wednesday 19 June. Refreshments will be available throughout the day including lunch, so please let us know your dietary requirements. Please note the full day will NOT run with fewer than 15 people. The Writing Days are currently offered for those wanting to write an application for Associate or Fellow. If you are considering making a claim for Senior Fellow having completed the diagnostic tool and had a discussion with your Bath Scheme Champion, then contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details of any forthcoming workshops and writing support for Senior Fellows.
