What was the event?
This event was the launch of ENGAGED. Four large chalkboards were put up outside the SU on one day and inside the student centre on another. The event coincided with Valentine’s Day, so in a Valentine’s spirit students were asked to write with what they loved about learning and teaching. From this we got 89 responses ranging from “becoming a better version of myself” to “learning about the world around you”. The incentives offered were sweets and fruit, which went down well, and students who participated got their first stamp.
